Our first Covid-19 vaccination clinic was held this week. We are encouraged by the residents and staff who chose to participate. While the first dose offers some protections, the full-efficacy rate of approximately 95% will not be achieved until two weeks after the second dose. The second vaccine clinic is currently scheduled for Monday, January 25th. New residents and staff will be given the opportunity to get their first vaccine at that time, dependent on supplies.

In our regular testing of employees and residents we have received negative test results for all residents from our last round of testing. One employee received a positive test result today. The employee will remain off-site until considered recovered by CDC guidelines.
